Fast to set up and requiring only a LAN connection to the internet, the Epiphan Video LiveScrypt is a portable box that enables you to provide highly accurate live transcription from video or audio for live events. The box sends the audio to the cloud where it is turned into text and sent back for display by the device. As LiveScrypt supports Google’s basic ASR languages, it supports a wide range of dialects and accents. The LiveScrypt device features HDMI, SDI, and UVC video over USB with embedded audio as well as analog audio input via XLR, 1/4″ phone, or RCA inputs. The text displays on the device’s 7″ LCD touchscreen as well as via the HDMI output to monitors for the audience to read. The touchscreen allows you to select the background for the displayed text as well as adjust settings and engage filters such as the profanity filter. Live Transcription LiveScrypt is a dedicated automatic transcription device powered by advanced speech recognition technology based in the cloud. The Device Serves as the hub of the system, inputting audio or video with audio, sending it to the cloud via your network, then displaying the transcript of the spoken words in real-time on the touchscreen LCDE or to a monitor connected to the HDMI output.
