DescriptionThe full moon creates incredible rays of light at Stockhill Wood in the Mendips on a foggy winter’s night, resembling a scene from a science fiction film.It was looking particularly foggy across Bristol, so we headed out on a night mission. Easily the most treacherous drive I’ve ever made – there was practically zero visibility enroute.As we arrived at Stockhill, the fog had begun to clear – but it was still in amongst the trees, so quickly found a spot and set up. The full moon was incredibly bright and cast the most amazing rays through the woodland.This image was shortlisted for Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2021.
